News from November 2007

THIS YEAR'S FINAL SHOWS AND MORE...
Well, we have our last few shows for the year over the next couple of months and also a special Blind Willie McTell evening where we'll be playing our renditions of a couple of his songs (not sure which ones yet, we haven't decided, day before we'll sort something out I'm sure), along with some other fine bands: Extradition Order, Congregation, Train Chronicles, David Cronenberg’s Wife, Lil’ Lost Lou and Spinmaster Plantpot. Also, as a special treat, Michael Gray will be reading from his new book "Hand Me My Travelin’ Shoes - In Search of Blind Willie McTell".

RADIO SESSION
A live radio session in November on Raven n' the Blues, who's recently hosted Eric Bibb, Otis Taylor, Kelly Joe Phelps, Catfish Keith and many other fine musicians...

The Secret Garden Party!

Hello to ya all... Well not much of an update but just a quick little note to say that we had a totally awesome time at The Secret Garden Party. We played the A.M.P. Arena and it was totally heaving. Thanks for all the craziness by all of you who came down to see us, and to all of you who accidentally caught us!

This year we're winding down with some intimate gigs, so look out for those if wanna come down... um that's it!

Us!

Post Glastonbury Festival

So Glastonbury Festival was fun! If you're reading this and you came to see us or even stumbled across us, you were awesome, cos you danced in the rain and mud and cheered, it was a pleasure!

Festivals and such...

As you may have seen we've been booked for the Mantua Festival in Ireland, The Secret Garden Party and the Wye Fayre all in July, we played the Stokefest on the Raison d'Etre Stage and Glastonbury Festival is this weekend!! All of which should be fanstastic...the UK summer is here!!

Also looks like we'll be featured on a UK Folk/Americana Compilation in the next few months, more on that when we know.

Compilation, Duo gig and more...

Chantal & Jason start April off with a duo gig at the Luminaire, supporting Kris Delmhorst. It's been a long time since there’s been a duo set-up, I think the last time may have been round a camp fire at the Reading Festival, there are bound to be a few new tunes for your ears on the night...

We'll be doing a bit more demo recording in May, trying things out etc, and it also looks like we'll be featured on a UK Folk/Americana Compilation in the next few months, more on that when we know.

We have joined up with the mighty fine Raison D'etre Show which puts on very fine musical extravaganzas, you can expect many delights including on occasion a bit of burlesque...we'll be playing with them at Cargo in June. At some point in the early part of this year there'll perhaps be a live radio session happening, more on that soon...

2007 - Beginnings

2007 is upon us and we have several shows lined up, playing with some fine bands including Kris Delmhorst, Catherine Anne Davies, The Smoke Fairies and many others....

We have joined up with the mighty fine Raison D'etre Show which puts on very fine musical extravaganzas, you can expect many delights including on occasion a bit of burlesque...we'll be playing at a couple of their shows in the next few months starting off in Favela Chic in March and Cargo in June. For those of you who like an intimate setting we are playing at one of our favourite little venues, The Green Note in Camden this week (1 February), if it's anything like last time, you'd best get down there early'ish to get a little spot for yourself. At some point in the early part of this year there'll perhaps be a live radio session happening, more on that soon...
