Quick News of Gigs and more...

We've just played a couple of really nice gigs this week, the first we played was in Greenwich at The Twist, which is a really nice venue run by some equally nice people, and we had great time.

That same day we found out we were playing the Barfly on the Wednesday at the Nokia Rock up and Play. This was for 8 or so bands chosen out of not sure how many, to play a 15 minute set and woo the crowd. It seems we wooed the crowd enough to play Reading this year which we're all chuffed about. I have to say there were a couple of bands there which we thought were super cool, but I cannot remember the band names, will try and find out if I can. There were a couple of cameras rpoaming about so we'll try and ge the footage to upload on the site if we can.

So anyway, as far as we know we're playing the Saturday and Sunday but I heard today it may be Friday too. The Nokia stage receives TV coverage so if you were not lucky enough to get tickets then you can catch us on the telly if you want to.

That's it for now!

Bye!

Nice Summer gig!

Howdy folks!

Despite our mumblings of playing a gig this Saturday at the Wilmington, it was actually a really fun gig. The weather was so fine, which meant we had to abandon days by the river/park/festivals to play a gig inside a dark room. Shame Steve was feeling a bit ill, but he played on like a champ, I wore my shades inside, in solidarity to those outside in the parks who had to wear their's too, I know what a pain it is, so I suffered with you, disproportionately I thought, as most people just thought I was a w*nker wearing sunglasses inside, except for a couple of wise folk who saw what I was doing, yeah!

Aaaanyway, thanks to those who came, t'was a good one, and the last I saw of Pedro, he was wondering what to do with the free beer he had in his hand (next to the other beer in his other hand)... has anyone seen Pedro?
